Further information

Pets

Up to two dogs can stay in the hostel with group bookings only, subject to prior arrangement.  A £15 supplement per dog is charged.  Dogs are not allowed in the bedrooms and must not be left unattended in the hostel at any time unless in a secured dog crate.  They should be kept on a lead at all times whilst in the hostel grounds to protect local wildlife and sheep in the surrounding fields.

No Smoking/vaping

Smoking or vaping e-cigs is not allowed in the hostel or studio. If smoking outside, please dispose of cigarette ends carefully and remove all traces!

Cleaning

Please leave the hostel and surrounding area clean and tidy.  Cleaning materials are provided.

Accessibility

Due to the nature of the building, its immediate surroundings and available access, unfortunately the hostel is not suitable for wheelchair users or visitors with limited mobility.

Risk assessment

Vehicular access to the hostel is via a farm track through a field which is uneven and unlit.   The stone steps and patio leading to the hostel entrance can be slippery when wet.  Inside the building a fairly steep staircase with a low ceiling in part of the stairwell leads to the bedrooms.  The hostel is surrounded by fields, with sheep frequently grazing nearby
