Thank you for a wonderful welcome and a peaceful, comfortable night at this hostel. We had all the equipment we needed; the views are just amazing. The beds are comfortable and the duvets are cosy. What an amazing treat to wake up in this beautiful landscape.

Ten of us came to compete in a X-runner mud run and made a weekend out of it in Bretton. Quite incredible location, wonderful facilities… Would (and will) return in a heartbeat.

Wonderful weekend …. The setting is perfect; we have all loved it, the setting has really worked its magic on us, we’ve watched the light move across the landscape, there’s been walks, lots of making things in the Studio, lovely food, bat-watching, birdsong, time for so many conversations, time to unwind and time to be inspired. We intend to return, we love it here.

As Delboy would say ‘This is one of my most favouritist hostels in England’. I stayed here 25 nights with the YHA – this is my first as an I.H. but God willing not my last. Beautifully restored. Well done.
